A contaminant mentioned in an article, chart, or product listing is not necessarily present in your water. Only a suitable test of your water can help determine your conditions. Do not use a TDS reading as a complete test of drinking-water safety.

Claims, certifications, and maintenance

Before buying, ask the seller or manufacturer for the current model-specific performance data sheet, written support for contaminant-reduction claims, and installation and maintenance instructions. A certification applies only to the specific model and standard named, and only when a current third-party listing is cited. A certified component is not necessarily certification of an entire system. Results depend on source water, use, upkeep, and replacement of filters, UV lamps, or other parts. Follow the manufacturer’s maintenance instructions and do not rely on our listings instead of those documents.
