Reverse Osmosis Systems
The gold standard for drinking water
Reverse osmosis pushes water through a semi-permeable membrane that rejects 90–99% of dissolved contaminants — lead, arsenic, fluoride, nitrates, PFAS, and microplastics. It is the most thorough drinking-water treatment you can install under a sink.

How to Choose: Reverse Osmosis Buyer's Guide
Tankless vs. tank
Tankless (e.g., Waterdrop G3) saves cabinet space and delivers fresher water on demand, but needs an electrical outlet. Traditional tank systems work without power but store water in a pressurized tank.
Watch the drain ratio
Older RO units waste 3–4 gallons per gallon produced. Modern tankless systems hit 1:1 or better. A lower ratio means a lower water bill.
Add remineralization
RO removes beneficial minerals along with contaminants. A remineralization stage restores taste and a healthy pH — worth it if you drink RO water daily.
