    Atmospheric Water Systems (AWG)

    Condense moisture from air

Atmospheric water generators (AWGs) condense moisture from air and may include internal treatment stages. Output and maintenance requirements vary by model and operating conditions; these systems do not require a municipal water connection.

How to Choose: Atmospheric (AWG) Buyer's Guide

    Humidity is the fuel

Output scales with humidity and temperature. Most units are rated at 30°C / 80% RH. Expect roughly half the rated output in a dry climate, so size up if you live somewhere arid.

    Check energy per liter

AWGs use 0.3–0.5 kWh per liter. Over a year that adds up — compare energy efficiency, not just tank size, when choosing a daily-use machine.

    Filtration after condensation

Review the manufacturer's current documentation for internal stages, maintenance, and any performance claims for the exact model.
